A group of committed Old Boys have also spearheaded the new SBC Old Boys Foundation and invite past students, parents and friends of the College to join the Foundation to continue to support the growth and development of the SBC family and community.
The Foundation Charter works to raise the profile of the College in the wider community; encourage participation by current and past students and parents in College and Foundation events and raise funds to support the growth and development of the College. We encourage SBC Old Boys and friends of the College to get involved in the many number of events spearheaded by the Foundation. Information about past and upcoming events can be found at the SBC Old Boys Foundation Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/sbcoldboys/
Membership of the Foundation is open to any person who is proposed/seconded by an existing member (Rule 11 of the Constitution) and accepted by the Foundation Board of Directors. The membership fee in 2018 is $100.
We encourage membership by all Old Boys and SBC community members, and anyone wishing to be admitted as a member should send an e-mail with contact details to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once the application has been accepted by the Foundation Board an invoice will be issued for fees and as a membership record.
