With a student body of just over 150, St Brendan’s College celebrated its largest Senior Formal to date, with more than 600 guests in attendance.
Each year, the Formal is hosted entirely in-house on site— and 2025 was no exception. What made this year extraordinary was the scale of the event and the fact that, despite its size, every element was still managed internally by College staff, students, and volunteers.
The lighting, sound, and technical production were expertly led by Mr Aaron Jorgensen, supported by the student-run Technical Production Crew, who delivered a polished and professional setup from start to finish.
The event was coordinated and styled by Chantelle Ludcke, Marketing and Events, who oversaw the full event design, bump-in, and bump-out — ensuring every detail was carefully planned and delivered to perfection.
Entertainment was provided by the high-energy band MATH, and it did not take long before families and students hit the dance floor. One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the mother and son dance, a special tradition that continues to be a crowd favourite.
With a record number of attendees, the team worked creatively to make the space work — and thanks to the collective effort of staff and volunteers, it did.
