Student Arrival Information
To encourage student independence and support a smooth start to high school, parents are asked not to accompany students onto the College grounds on the first day. Upon arrival, students should proceed directly to H Block. At 8:40am, when the bell rings, the Head of Year will meet students in the assembly area located on the external concrete forecourt. Students who are unsure where to go should not worry. Staff will be available throughout the area to assist, and supervision staff can be easily identified by their yellow high-visibility vests.
College Handbook
As your son begins his journey at St Brendan's College, families are encouraged to take some time to familiarise themselves with the College Handbook. The handbook contains important information about College life, including daily routines, student expectations, attendance procedures, uniform and grooming standards, technology requirements, communication processes, and key policies.
Reviewing this information before the start of the school year will help ensure a smooth transition to secondary school for both students and parents.
