Complaints

St Brendan’s College recognises that from time to time there may be instances where individuals have cause to make a complaint, or raise a concern about management decisions, educational processes, child safeguarding, the conduct of staff, or the behaviour of students.

These individuals may include parents/guardians, volunteers, contractors, teachers, students, internal staff, or members of the public.

How a complaint is managed will depend on its nature and circumstances. The College's approach to handling and resolving complaints is outlined in the Complaints Handling Policy and Procedures.

The preference of the College is that complaints be submitted via the online complaint form. This will produce a digital record to immediately support the assessment process.

Alternatively, complaints may be received in-person, Main Reception, 139 Adelaide Park Road, Yeppoon, by telephone, 07 49399400 or by e-mail administration@sbc.qld.edu.au.

Staff members, including teachers, should use internal mechanisms to raise a concern, complaint or grievance - the forms for doing so are located on the Staff Intranet.

Students wishing to make a complaint should access the appropriate form on the Student Voice Page.

For further information, please refer to our Complaints Handling Policy and Procedure.

Should the matter not be resolved to your satisfaction, a request for a review of the complaint decision can be submitted using the link below.
