Complaints

St Brendan’s College recognises that from time to time there may be instances where individuals have cause to make a complaint, or raise a concern about management decisions, educational processes, child safeguarding, the conduct of staff, or the behaviour of students.

These individuals may include parents/guardians, volunteers, contractors, teachers, students, internal staff, or members of the public.

The way the complaint is addressed and/or the pathway used to reach a resolution will depend on the nature of the complaint.

The preference of the College is that complaints be submitted via the online complaint form. This will produce a digital record to immediately support the assessment process.

Alternatively, complaints may be received in-person (Main Reception-139 Adelaide Park Road, Yeppoon), by telephone (07 49399400) or by e-mail (stbrendans.qld.edu.au).

Staff members, including teachers, should use internal mechanisms to raise a concern, complaint or grievance - the forms for doing so are located on the Staff Intranet.

Students wishing to make a complaint should access the appropriate form on the Student Voice Page.
