2027 Boarding Information

Welcome to the St Brendan's Boarding Community

Starting boarding school is a significant milestone for both students and their families. We understand that entrusting your son to boarding can be both exciting and emotional, and we are committed to supporting your family every step of the way.

To help make the transition to boarding as smooth and stress-free as possible, we have compiled the information on this page to guide you through the important steps before your son's arrival. We encourage families to download and print the Boarding Checklist and What to Bring guide, and use them to keep track of key tasks and requirements.

Please also take the time to review the 2027 Student Commencement Information, which contains important details relating to your son's academic and day school requirements.

Most importantly, please remember that you are not alone in this process. Our boarding staff are here to support both you and your son as he settles into life at St Brendan's. If you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to contact your Head of Residence or the Residential Office, who will be happy to assist.

We look forward to welcoming your family to the St Brendan's Boarding Community.

St Brendan's College Boarding currently uses REACH, a boarding management and communication platform that helps families stay connected with their son's boarding experience. REACH is used to manage leave requests and approvals, record student movements, communicate important boarding information, and assist staff in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all boarders.

Detailed information on accessing and using REACH can be found in the Residential Section of the College Handbook, along with a range of other useful information relating to boarding life, routines, policies and procedures.

Please note that the College is intending to transition to a new boarding management system in the near future. Mr Nick Blevin will keep boarding families informed throughout this process and will communicate any changes, timelines and instructions as they become available.
