Lost Cargo, the student band from St Brendan’s College, has taken out first place at the CQ All Schools Battle of the Bands 2025, joining 10 other schools for an incredible evening of music and entertainment.

Behind the scenes, the event was supported by our talented Technical Production students, who played a vital role in delivering a professional and seamless experience. This was an excellent opportunity for these students to put their skills to the test — and they delivered with precision and professionalism.

And their success is reaching far beyond the classroom, with Lost Cargo recently featured on Triple M Central Queensland’s Breakfast Show with Pinky & Macca. The band performed a powerful cover of Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan and shared their journey from formation to victory at the CQ Battle of the Bands 2025.

Lost Cargo now performs at Singapore Sizzle Down Under on Saturday, 11 October at 2:00 PM, sharing the stage with renowned artists Rines, Kate Mahood, Grent Perez, Gail Belmonte, Dominic Chin, and The Shortfall.
