Rugby Union

The St Brendan’s College Rugby Union program provides students with the opportunity to take part in the Rockhampton and District Secondary Schools Competition.

We have teams in the U/13, U/15 and Open age groups who compete throughout Term 1.

Students are also provided with the opportunity to participate in the numerous Rugby 7’s carnivals throughout the year including the CQ7’s, Gladstone 7’s, Western 7’s and Q7’s.

There are also many opportunities to participate in representative competitions with the St Brendans College boys often selected in Rockhampton and Capricornia teams.

Rugby Union:

• Interschool Competition in Term 1 & 2 where students from Year 7 to Year 12 are offered the opportunity to take part.
• Western 7’s – Students play a modified style of Rugby Union.
• Rugby 7’s – A carnival held in Rockhampton during Term 1.
