Our dedicated College staff offer a range of opportunities for students to undertake homework and gain academic assistance and advice from teachers outside of classroom hours. The following opportunities are regularly available:
Students are able to attend Homework Club from 3pm to 4pm, every Monday to Thursday in the Learning Support Office (downstairs in C Block). Homework Club offers students to undertake their homework in a quiet, supported environment and to gain assistance from teaching staff.
Students can seek assistance and advice in relation to Business, Geography and History classwork, homework and assignments in the regular Humanities Tutorials, offered every Tuesday from 3.05pm to 4pm in the College Library.
Students can seek help with class work, assessments, or general spelling, reading and comprehension in the regular English Tutorials, offered every Thursday in C2 from 3.10pm to 4pm.
Speaking Skills Tutorials
For students who hate public speaking or struggle with presentation tasks in the curriculum, the English Department offers regular tutorials, from 3.10pm – 4.00pm every Tuesday in C4. Students are invited to attend and practise the tricks of the trade to help build their speaking skills!
