* Our day students also have the option to pay for the Boarders' Lunch Package, which is $5 per day paid per term (from Term 2 2019), enabling day students to have the same first break lunch as the boarding students.  They must bring something from home for second break. Visit the Boarding Dining and Nutrition Page for more details of menu items.

Sports Hall

The St Brendan's College Hall has undergone a major renovation and includes a new canteen with larger air-conditioned seating area for students, and a refurbished gymnasium for school and extra-curricular activities.  The Hall is used regularly for Physical Education classes, House assemblies and meetings, the annual College Year 12 Formal and as a wet weather venue for a range of activities.  In 2019 further renovations will result in a large classroom for exams and year level meetings, a boardroom and archive facility and a viewing deck overlooking the SBC Main Oval.

Chapel & Performing Arts Centre

The Chapel and Performing Arts Centre (CPAC) was completed in 2012 at a cost of approximately $5 million.  It was built following the devastating fire which destroyed the historic Hogan Building and damaged the Chapel, in 2008.  The Centre incorporates a 788 seat auditorium, a large and small band room and a number of small music rooms for private and group tuition.  The Performing Arts Centre was modelled on the best-of-the-best music and performance centres in South East Queensland, and is arguably Central Queensland's largest and best music performance centre.  It is used for music performances, College assemblies, awards nights, the annual College musical and special events.  Major renovations and upgrades undertaken at the end of 2018 will cements its place as one of Central Queensland's best performing arts centres.

Manual Arts & Trade Training Centre

St Brendan's College has arguably the best Industrial Technology and Manual Arts facilities in Central Queensland.  The facilities include a dedicated Automotive Trade Training Centre, construction training area, metal work and woodwork areas, welding and spray paint facilities and classrooms. This facility supports the extensive Vocational Education and Training course suite that is offered to our senior students as alternative pathways to the strong academic curriculum offering.

Sporting Facilities

St Brendan's College boasts arguably one of the largest campuses in Queensland with a significant range of sporting ovals and facilities used within the sporting and extra-curricular program.  The College ovals and grounds cater for rugby league, AFL, soccer, cricket, athletics, cross country with tennis courts and a dedicated rodeo arena giving our students every opportunity to participate in in a range of sporting pursuits.  The ovals and grounds also provide significant space and room to grow for our day and boarding students.  In 2019 upgrades to the SBC Main Oval with lighting to Q-Cup standard will offer significant opportunities for the growth and development of our sporting program and student performance.

The College boasts state-of-the-art buildings, classrooms and resources in the provision of a holistic education for our students.  The campus incorporates a range of new buildings and classrooms including our Year 7 Hogan Building and state-of-the-art library which complement the significant range of classrooms that many of our Old Boys would remember from their time at the College.

Swimming Pool

The College has a 25-metre swimming pool which is used for the annual Interhouse Swimming Carnival, as well as Physical Education lessons, swimming training and as a recreation facility for boarding students.
