St Brendan’s College is located on a 300-acre campus nestled at the foot of Mt Barmoya, minutes from Yeppoon beaches and central business district. It is an easy 40 minute drive from Rockhampton (direct air, train and bus access) to the seaside community in Central Queensland.
The main campus occupies a built area of 10-acres with the remainder a tranquil, bushland setting where the smell of eucalypt leaves you in no doubt you are among the green and gold, both that of Australia and of St Brendan’s where the school colours echo throughout.
The campus has numerous dedicated facilities assisting staff in the pursuit of academic, sporting, and pastoral excellence. This curated blend contributes to the unique nature of the College as a holistic facility, one that provides students the convenience and safety of being able to fulfil their needs without additional travel.

The Ambrose Treacy Centre is a multi-use venue for sporting, educational and business purposes, overlooking College sporting fields to the Mt Barmoya vista.
A fully equipped gymnasium, basketball and badminton courts and space for Physical Education classes secures its sporting use, inclusive of afterhours extra-curricular activities.
A boardroom, multiple classrooms, staff offices make provision for educational use, while a mini art gallery and school archive contribute to showcasing the College and its provenance when the centre is used for a variety of events throughout the year.
As a dedicated boys boarding college the campus has four modern residences with one exclusive to Year 7 boys as they transition into both boarding and their first year of higher education. These are accompanied by full provision ancillary services including dining, laundry, and health centre. Please see Boarding for further information.
The Chapel and Performing Arts Centre (CPAC) is a purpose-built centre, modelled on best practice, incorporating a 788-seat auditorium complete with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment, a large and small band room and several small music rooms for private and group tuition.
It is used for music performances, assemblies, awards nights and a range of special events.
The centre also houses a quaint chapel used for both public and private services.
The College boasts state-of-the-art buildings, classrooms and resources in the provision of a holistic education for students. We ensure modern equipment and best practice lead educational programming.

St Brendan's College has arguably one of best Industrial Technology and Manual Arts facilities in Central Queensland. The facilities include a dedicated Automotive Trade Training Centre, construction training area, metal work and woodwork areas, welding and spray paint facilities and classrooms. This facility supports the extensive Vocational Education and Training course suite that is offered to students as alternative pathways to the strong academic curriculum offering.
Unique in Queensland, St Brendan’s College is proud to house a dedicated Rodeo Arena. The arena forms a central hub in supporting its vibrant Agricultural Programming and extracurricular activities including Rodeo Club and Cattle Club. The College also hosts its own Annual Rodeo Showcase Event open to the public very September bringing a crowd of over 3000 to watch the toughest sport on dirt supporting SBC and the local community.
St Brendan's College boasts arguably one of the largest campuses in Queensland with a significant range of sporting ovals and facilities across its 300 hectares.
