St Brendan's College's history dates back to the 1940's when it was established to provide a Catholic education for “the sturdy station children, the sons of cattlemen and sheepmen from the great, grand heart of the West.”
Today, the College offers opportunities for rural students to continue their rural interests while at school, and to extend their academic learnings in the agricultural sphere.
St Brendan's College has a dedicated Agricultural Centre, offers academic choices in Rural Operations and has a strong extra-curricular offering for students with agricultural and rural interests, including Cattle Club, Rodeo Club and Horse Riding.
