St Brendan's College is renowned for the strength of its Old Boy community. The friendships and bonds that many St Brendan's College students make in their time here often last a lifetime. For those who may have lost contact with their classmates the Old Boys' Association often assists in renewing contact.
The Old Boys’ Association provides an opportunity for past students to reconnect, share their memories of their days at St Brendan’s and help with financial contributions to the ongoing development of the College.
Each year regular gatherings are held around Queensland along with reunions at the College. The main vehicle of communication currently for the Old Boys Association is the Bindi-Eye Newsletter, produced by Old Boys' Coordinator Brother Kevin Smith, which helps to keep people in touch and find out about upcoming events.
Many past students will remember being taught by Brother Smith in their time at the College. Brother Smith remains committed to the College and spends much of his time keeping track of the history, people and events of SBC. If you are planning to hold a reunion or wish to update the College on your activities and achievements since leaving the College please get in touch. Brother Kev can be contacted on email KSmith@sbc.qld.edu.au or please complete the form below for our College records.
A group of committed Old Boys have also spearheaded the new Old Boys Foundation and invite past students and friends of the College to join the Foundation. For more information on membership, the Charter and upcoming events of the Foundation please click here.
