Boarding discounts, Edmund
Rice Bursaries and more.
To support the commitments of local students and families, the College now offers weekly boarding, alongside its full-time boarding and day student offering.
Weekly Boarding is designed to support students with study and after school commitments and offers a positive financial option for local families.
In recent years a number of students have joined boarding for their final year, Year 12. Their positive feedback included experiencing less distraction than they would at home while studying; and the accessibility of after school activities such as sports training and music commitments. The College's new Study Hub also offers additional academic support for this option, operating as a supervised study session in College library from 6.30pm to 8.30pm Monday to Thursday evenings.
The costs for weekly boarding offer a significant discount. To be fair and equitable weekly boarding conditions are strictly enforced. Students arrive for school Monday morning, join boarding after school Monday and go home every weekend, after school finishes on Friday.
