Weekly Boarding

To support the commitments of local students and families, the College offers weekly boarding, alongside its full-time boarding and day student offering. 

Weekly Boarding is designed to support students with study and after school commitments and offers a positive financial option for local families. 

In recent years a number of students have joined boarding for their final year, Year 12.  Their positive feedback included experiencing less distraction than they would at home while studying; and the accessibility of after school activities such as sports training and music commitments. 

The costs for weekly boarding offer a significant discount. To be fair and equitable weekly boarding conditions are strictly enforced. Students arrive for school Monday morning, join boarding after school Monday and go home every weekend, after school finishes on Friday. 

Weekly boarding may be of benefit to students and parents where:

• The student wishes to improve their academic performance
• The student wants to be involved in high level sports training
• Parents work and other commitments would make it a more convenient and supportive option 
• Parents wishing to have their son experience greater independence prior to leaving school
• Parents who believe their son would benefit from a more structured environment.
