Many of our students aspire to success in the Agricultural industries. St Brendan's College Cattle Club supports them in their efforts. The Cattle Club has a registered Brahman herd that has a tradition of excellence around the show circuit. Students who join the Cattle Club learn the finer arts of preparing and showing cattle. The College has a fine reputation and an extensive trophy cabinet of successes. The Cattle Club also has a healthy and successful Illawarra Stud which has brought home an impressive array of ribbons and trophies.
The St Brendan's Brahman Stud has it's own website, including details of cattle information, photos, and sales. Click here to view.
In addition to the Band Program, St Brendan's College has a comprehensive instrumental program allowing students the opportunity to study any instrument and voice training with quality tutors. Each student is treated as an individual with his own lesson plan and structure, designed to meet his specific needs and goals. Students also have the opportunity to be involved in the annual school musical. Our young men combine with the young ladies from St Ursula's College to prepare and perform an entertainment experience that is always the toast of the town. Students can also volunteer for the week-long music tour that winds its way through regional Queensland. In addition to the wide range of co-curricular activities, their social graces are developed through social contacts with students from other schools, at inter-school dances and at formal dinners.
